Nick is a partner specialising in consenting energy and infrastructure projects, sits on Pinsent Masons’ global Climate Change & Sustainability Advisory Group and co-leads the Firm’s UK hydrogen and carbon capture and storage team. He has advised a large number of clients on consenting energy projects for over a decade, including recently on the Net Zero Teesside decarbonised industrial cluster project and on the development of Viridor’s state-of-the-art CCS project to be constructed in Runcorn. Nick has also worked with various clients on recent bids for Government funding for decarbonisation projects, including multiple CCS and hydrogen production projects.
